Adaptable across and range of climates

Although seldom grown in Northern Europe, popcorn can perform very successfully across most of the continent. 'Robust' is the best variety for adaptability across a range of climates and has bright yellow-orange kernels. It must be dried for 3 to 4 weeks before cooking but otherwise easy and fun to prepare. Popcorn should be kept away from sweetcorn to avoid cross-pollination.
